Go Greens

No doubt Miss Bee will get a laugh out of this…

Who should I vote for?

Your expected outcome:

Conservative

Your actual outcome:

Labour 32
Conservative 15
Liberal Democrat 52
UK Independence Party 27
Green 56

You should vote: Green

The Green Party, which is of course strong on environmental issues, is also pro-Europe and takes a strong position on welfare issues, but was firmly against the war in Iraq. Other key concerns are cannabis, where the party takes a liberal line, and foxhunting, which unsurprisingly the Greens are firmly against.

The Green Party?!? This meme has got to be borked – I voted against the Constitution and the Euro and yet I still end up as either a Green or a Liberal?

  1. I did as well! I’m going to find a gun now and place it between me and Paul and see who kills who/themselves first!

    You should vote: Liberal Democrat

The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.

    Hmmmm.

  5. I can’t vote Green in the general election though, unless they put a candidate up in the next couple of days. It’s a choice between Labour, Conservative, BNP, Lib Dem and Veritas, although as I’ve mentioned in my other entry it’s possible that the Greens could put someone up for a councillor position (they won’t stand a chance though, my ward is about as Tory as you can get).
