CV feedback

I’ve been working on my CV on and off for a couple of months now – I realised it was out of date when I applied for the job at IPEC and fortunately they didn’t look too closely at it because the last thing on it at the time was from 2004.

At the moment my CV is at the stage where I’m sort of happy with it, but I can’t help feeling that something is missing or that there are things on it that I could remove without reducing its impact. I don’t know why, but at the moment it just doesn’t feel “right” for some reason. Perhaps its the extra curricular stuff that I’m not happy with, but then I really want to leave at least some of those in because they show that I do stuff outside of my course and also they can be a good talking point at interviews – especially if you happen to have something in common with the person asking the questions. I guess it’s better to be wondering what to cut from your CV than being in the position of not having enough to fill two pages though.

Anyway, I was wondering if people would be kind enough to take a look at my CV and let me know what you think. Feel free to lay into it as much as you want – I’d rather fix the mistakes now than after I’ve failed an interview. 🙂

  1. Hmm, I think you might actually benefit from elaborating more rather than bullet points. But it all looks good to me.
